Default Wow....RV rollover accident

Saw this on RV net....a roll over RV accident with basically the entire unit disintegrating. I am astounded at the level of destruction. How they survived is a miracle.

It is beyond my understanding how something can be sold as a powered motorhome/coach/bus when it is built like a trailer (not designed to be occupied while in motion). As shown clearly in the photos hugh sections of the walls & roof separated from the chassis and no substantial protective frame is evident anywhere, even in the driver/pass compartment.

He's currently trying to get tomatoes genetically re-engineered. He found the the birght red color caused way too many startled reactions while eating salad! So he wants to get them with less red!

Amen and Amen - there had to be angels riding in that SOB, but I would suspect they "vacated the premises" as quickly as possible. Anybody know what kind of SOB it was?

Amen, brother.

The picture of the inverted coach with the captain's chair back reclined shows how the "structure" of the coach failed and collapsed. It also indicates how lucky those people are to be alive. Seems like roll cages would be a good idea in a S&S coach but there is no way to make one work. Nothing to tie into except the frame. Amazing they lived.

I looked, but I could not figure out what kind of coach it was.

Don't forget in 1972 or 1974 the government report came out about the Corvair and pronounced it safe. Of course GM had quit building it in 1969 due to the dismal sales caused by Nader.
And then there was the Audi sales nose dive caused by the bad unintended acceleration reporting of CBS and the exploding gas tanks in Chevy trucks (that had been rigged to assure the fireball for the cameras).
Then there was the Pinto - oops that one was true.

Brett: I always wondered about the left front fender location for the gas tank on the Corvair...not a safe place for a fuel tank IMO.

This SOB accident fortunately did not turn into a fireball.
