Default Oil fill hubcap part #

Does anyone have a part number for the oil fill hubcap on an ‘85 PT tag axle? It has one marking of 434 but I’m not having any luck with a google search. Would like to have a replacement on hand before taking it off. The plastic lip around the red plug is broken.

You found a Unicorn !!! I thought they were all made by Stemco . Take some more pictures down to Napa, Truck Pro or whoever JB Hunt gets their parts from and I’m sure they can fix you up

Max.

It is a stemco. There is a 6 bolt and an 8 bolt. available on Amazon, cheap money. make sure you get the gasket with it. Do not buy just the center window and red plug as the small bolts that hold that on ALWAYS break. I just replaced both of them on my 87 FC because my originals had opaque ( black ) windows. refill to line with 80W 90 gear oil. I cut the bottom out of a clorox jug and held it under the hub to collect the oil. Didn't make much of a mess but keep a can of brake part cleaner and rags handy for cleanup. simple job but gear oil smells terrible.

Thanks Randy. We won’t be at WOG this year so I’ll touch base with you after.

Thanks. That’s what I thought it might be after looking at Stemco’s website.
