What a motivator to own a bluebird !!!!

When I view the quality work you lay into those floors...I'm sure you have a long list of happy customers.

Looks like another happy customer just drove off to avoid the Dallas Monday nightmare early rush hour.

Folks, we are very happy. I can say Ernie is meticulous and detail oriented. I'm anal, and there were a few things I saw that I would have done a certain way, and Ernie was there with or before me. An example is the toe kick under the kitchen cabinets. I would have painted them, but he beat me to it. I rebuilt and reinstalled the toilet this morning with my son, and that was a dirty and sweaty experience, culminating in it leaking and realizing we couldn't use the one plastic ring/seat that was previously there due to the new floor. Took that out and no more leaking. However, the kit came with a new flush/ball valve, which seems to be just slightly narrower than the original, allowing water to leak through when closed. Luckily I saved the original and will take it apart and swap it out when I get home. After checking out of the hotel and fixing the leak, we reinstalled the furniture, Ernie and Bim wrapped things up, I took a shower and we hit the road around 4:30 and drove 3 hours further east, to avoid having a 9-10 hour ride tomorrow through Dallas traffic and rush hour. We are now close to the Louisiana border and have a 6-7 hour ride left tomorrow.

Thanks again Ernie!

Looks good Ernie.
Do you have a pick of the finished area around the foot pedals on the driver side? Did you put wood in that slanted/elevated area, or maybe carpet?
