Your wood entryway looks great. We went in a more industrial direction with our winter remodel.

I have done the stainless, also.
The Roppe treads, made in Fostoria, Ohio, can you believe it- here in the USA are a nice touch

Our wood floor was a PO mod, and not bad, but they botched the entryway joinery. We originally thought to change it to Corian, but weight is an issue so we went to wood with much better joinery. Simple looks better.

Here's a before and two afters.

Drool, drool, drool. I would like to have my carpet around the steps (white carpet - which was dumb for the BB decorators to use that color) replaced with stainless steel.

Ernie replaced the old rubber step surface with new ones, but the dirty, almost impossible to clean carpet still looks bad.

Wow! That is nice Ron what material is that? You mentioned you thought maybe corian but didn't use it. Are the rubber liners inset or is it part of the step? Where can I get that material?

The treads are from Roppe. The design is raised round. Any full service flooring store can get those. They are quite expensive but they never wear out. There are cheaper versions out there and those are paper thin.
