That's an understatement...

We appreciate that and we are truly blessed to be the new owners...

To me Good Ole Bird is a clasic hot rod, a beautiful motorhome and a fortress all built into one...

And she is a hot rod.. I left my dad sitting still on the rolling hills through Alabama...

I always had an argument going across the San Francisco area bridges.

If you have any questions on the tow carrier i have pictures of the assembly attachment to the coach.
Lucas, did you ever win the argument? My truck had a lift axle which I could not legally use when in CA. However they always charged me for the axle.
I had many an argument over it. Sometimes I turned off the engine and suggested they bring out a supervisor. I never won. It still ticks me off just thinking about it!

What if I were to carry several axles on the lift with none touching the ground ??

I should try that...

Mark, I won the argument every time. I refused to pay the extra $5 and insisted they look at the setup. Most of the time the attendant would not get out of their booth to confirm that the front axle was not on the ground and yell at the attendant in the next booth to confirm that the front wheels were carried up high making the car in effect a trailer.
Now when we cross in our WB42 we carry the Citroen with the front wheels on a dolly so we pay for 5 axles.
