And here I was going to go to bed with visions of speed control switches in my head. Now, with the flick of that switch there is draft. And a pull switch for speeds to fix too.

Most likely there originally a rotary dial for speed control.
Mine quit working because it was never oiled and all gummed up inside. Cleaned and lubed, no issues since.


If you decide to clean the motor, take care not to pull any wires when splitting the motor case.
