As the title says, we are looking to set up a group buy for the windshield gaskets for the FC and PT models since they are no longer available from Bluebird or anywhere else. Dan Hartley will get these produced, and the price will obviously go down the more that he needs to have made. So let's use this thread to start seeing who wants to buy some of these. I'll start by saying I obviously want one. Not sure if Dan reads here on WOG and will respond or not, but my guess is that this will be in the couple hundred-dollar range per gasket at least per the last time I talked to him.

Also to clarify, it is just one gasket. It is basically a squared-off figure eight shape for both windshields.

I talked with him a few min ago,so hes hip to this conversation.


I want a gasket,Chap will want one,Crit wants one,so to make this easy put me down for 5.
A group buy will lower the cost of goods and the cost of making the mold or what ever they call it.

I don't know about them being a maintenance item, but at this point for an FC or a PT those suckers are 30 to 50 years old. For those of us like me who need to be replacing windshields, I'm not about to reuse a gasket that's that old if I don't have to.
