Amdro granular bait. It works. Had carpenter ants in my barn, found them in the roof, coming out of fixtures. Strapped bowls with Amdro to the ceiling near those fixtures, they ate, they shared, they died. Also broadcast it (shaker bottle) around the barn in the spring, then later in the summer.

I don’t think one off though bait stations will work lol
And I have no pets
So how do I get in there to spray them?
This is a tough one. Net of finding the nest and destroying the queen, tenting may be the only solution. Typically tenting is reserved for flying termites (warm climates only). If these are traditional subterranean termites you may be successful if you find mud tubes and inject with a Bifenthrin (Talstar) or Fipronil (Termidor) solution. You want one of those as opposed to something like Cypermethrin (Demon). Bifenthrin and Fipronil, they don't know they're treading on it until it's too late. Some of the others have a repellent feature to them. Otherwise, tent and bomb, but that's best left to professional exterminators. During that process they actually have to throw a smoke bomb with noxious (not poisonus) gas in the (house) coach to be sure no one is inside. The stuff they use kills EVERYTHING inside, thus all those precautions.

Obviously, in all of the above, follow label instructions and wear appropriate PPE.

I bought 5 gallons of this years ago. I spray the underside of tge bus annually to stop rust. Spray my cars as well. I have sprayed a couple of other Wanderlodges as well. This stuff appears to work well. Reviews are possitive. It does not take much to do a bus, a couple of quarts, I have a lifetime supply.

I would contact a professional.
I recently heard about a LXI that got "tented" for termites,no other info.
That's right. The pros swear by termidor. The generic brand with the same active ingredient is called Taurus SC and can easily be found online. Fipronil is the poison and actually the same chemical that people drip on their pets' neck for flea and tick control.

It decimates all insects and (especially ants) but has been potentially linked now to the decline in bee populations around the world, so be careful where you apply it. Some countries like France have already banned it. It will knock them out, after a week or two by design. The tiniest amount will slowly attack their nervous system and it eventually gets spread to the queen.

I didn't give it a thought that the chipmunk would push it out. Squirt got a hold of it and I had no clue. I was lucky and got her to the vet in time but it was a terrible experience for the both of us, is all I can say.
If they're burrowing vermin, get some dry ice. Pour it into the hole and cover the hole with dirt. Done.

I have never heard of that one. I'll give it a try. Thanks Gene.

I hadn't either, but saw a news report about the pack rat problem they're having in NYC. They showed a city employee working on the issue pouring a shovel full of it into a burrow and covering over the hole with dirt. It was obviously dry ice. I thought for a moment, and then 'Brilliant!' It'll put the little buggars to 'sleep' and then sublimate away leaving nothing but packrat carcasses already buried.
