Default No power at “Panel Light” switch

After searching the forums for “panel light” and not finding anything on point....here goes:

All of my switches at the 3 switch panels (front door, dinette, bedroom) work fine EXCEPT the “Panel Light” switch.

Multimeter confirms no power to Panel Light switches. Other switches show power as expected.

Checked all the breakers by the front door and under the tv in the bedroom.

I see the Panel Light switches on the M380 front and rear load center schematics but my understanding of wiring schematics is basically nil.

Thank you for all your help.

Looking at the schematics, it appears that the Panel Light switches actually switch high frequency ac from the output of the small inverters - not 12 volts dc.

Here's one troubleshooting clue - it looks like the circuit breaker that feeds 12 volts dc to the small inverter for the Bedroom "panel light switch" also supplies the 12 volts dc for the REAR BED CEILING LGTS switch in that panel. So... if the REAR BED CEILING LGTS switch is working, it should mean that the small inverter for the Bedroom panel light is receiving dc voltage on it's input but apparently the inverter isn't putting out ac for the panel light.

Russ: as you can tell from prior posts, panel illumination is problematic for a lot of 380 owners. Mine work, but they’re so dim you can only tell if coach is in pitch black darkness! If your inverters are working and you still have no illumination, you’re probably SOL. There have been fleeting discussions about finding another way to illuminate the panels, but I’ve never seen anyone actually tackle the problem. Interested in being a trailblazer??!!
