There are some displays that can be wired into the driving lights that when they are on will dim the display so it is not so bright that it impares your night vision.
Maybe you should look at your manual of the display to see if that can be disconnected.

As far as the rear camera being installed behind the glass panel, any infrared LED's will reflect right back and cause an issue with what the camera can see at night. Better to have an outside camera mounted for night driving.

I would think that rating a companies work performance should only be done for issues you had direct knowledge of and paid for.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Its very simple and easy to point blame from the side line-

I think a $10 bosch relay would fix the dimming issue quickly.
as far as the glare on the screen, theres no perfect place for that screen.
Some parts of the day affect my screen too.
The old PTs had the screen above the windshields and they never got glare on them.
I guess if thats my only problem i don't have a problem at all!

Simple simple simple. The reason the Pioneer radio dims is it because there is an orange and white wire that is hooked to the headlight switch. All Pioneer radios are designed this way just disconnect the orange wire with the white stripe and it will solve the problem. Whoever install the radio hooked it up correctly according to the directions. It's not the shops fault.
