Default Access to Overhead Cabinets

If you open the air craft over heads there is obviously a place to put "stuff" now below that we have speakers, lights, switches etc. How do you get to that stuff from the top? I need access into that part of the bus and I see no screws or way to remove the floor panels to get into the area below.

To do what I have in mind I really need to get better access then thru the speakers. Just thought some one might have a better idea then cutting a hole from above.

Curt, I replaced two 110 lamps. The one over the dinette table and an identical lamp which was an extra cost option forward in the coach. I just did not like the looks of those lights. I found lights at Lowe's which worked nicely but when I remove the originals I found the electrical box was in a wedge shaped additional piece which was also attached to the bottom of the cabinet. To use my new lamps I eliminated the wedge (because the spots are adjustable) but I don't have a box behind the lamps now. I don't like that much, the wires are essentially loose and over time the moving around in a MH worries me. I'd like to get back behind into that lower cabinet panel to do it right. If I have to I'll cut a hole in the floor of the cabinet floor above where I am working and patch it, Not the end of the world.

John,
Look for hidden screws in the covering of the cabinet floors. Something is there holding those down.

Accessed denied? Got to be a way to get to the wiring, etc. I've looked without sucess. Our speaker volume controls need replacing or cleaning.
(We used Lectric Shave to clean & lubricate old rotary tv tuners back last century--contains alcohol & a lubricant, works well on most anything with sweeper contacts).

I will take a closer look at the cabinet floors tonight & post tomorrow if I find a solution to accessing the area below.

Rob, Made a suggestion, which makes good sense to me. He suggested sliding some cable protection (wire loom) up thru the hole which would protect the wires from chafing. Seems like an easy solution and it's what I plan to do. I want to take some pictures of these lights. I really like the look. I have thought from the get go that those old eighties gold plated lamps just looked out of place with my new interior. And it was an easy cheap fix. Maybe others will see it the same or differently. I might have to get help posting pics. Haven't done it as yet.
