Nice find. Especially if it has a solid floor.
I love all the old aluminums. I've had old Airstreams, Avions, and Spartans. They're special.

That’s a F 550 Diesel pulling it. She has moved mobile homes (60 foot was one) from Tampa to Fort Myers. Not even an EQ hitch. She drives that truck all over. She got that TT in upstate Georgia. I do hear about the fuel bill lol. She’s 5’ at 98 lbs (like her late mom was). Kids a pip. She has a Cadillac Escalade and I’m giving her my old Reese EQ hitch for that.

It’s clean, one soft spot on the floor in front of the rear kitchen sink. Looks to have never had a leak. Someone already upgraded it to 50 amp service. Has a domestic fridge and hot water heater. She wants to restore it to the three way fridge (new) , propane heater and water heater and two new roof ACs that look period. Someone stuck a 30 gallon domestic hot water heater in the bedroom closet. She wants it out. Thing has fins lol. I am trying to talk her into a small generator. She says no solar since it’s a classic. She joined the owners group and told me hers in real good shape as they go and said some of the owners have ‘nightmares’ compared to hers.

I told her about the Lucy jokes. Again she reminded me they had a Spartan in the movie. She said she may christen it ‘Lucy’ after all. I told her to look at the famous old birds on the web to see how we do it. This TT ought to last forever like our coaches since it’s 90% metal. I got to get a pic of the hydraulic brake actuator on the hitch. I’ve never seen one like it. It needs a new master cylinder. It looks to use a light chain hooked to the tow car and somehow pulls a lever to energize the brakes. I asked her about upgrading the hitch to a new style hydraulic braking hitch and she wants to restore it to original as much as possible and not cut the hitch off etc.

Great find !!! My arms and shoulders ache just thinking about polishing it. LOL ! Oh if I was only 40 years younger.
A project like that is best left to the young. ( definitely not something for us old farts )
