Default Air throttle

Guys, is there a fuel lift pump on my 1985 PT36 6V92TA?

#2, Should there be a lag between stepping on the gas pedal and the engine responding? I can step on the pedal and count to about 2 before the engine responses.

Thanks!

My newly installed Air throttle has a slight delay.

When installing the Jake Brake and adjusting the Rack, the mechanic adjusted the Detent (fuel miser) to respond without delay...sure made it smoke when applying heavy pedal off the line. This might be a Calif. Air Resources thing, perhaps other states as well.

Had about a 2 second delay until I rebuilt the air throttle as per instructions from Shane and a few gently used parts from Curt. Now throttle response is immediate.

#1 No lift pump on a 6v92. There is a fuel pump on the engine, only one.
