Port St Joe Florida
Carol and I have bought 2 lots in Port St Joe Florida,they are 200 feet from the bay,not on the water,but basically across the street from the water.
The lots are high and dry and we are building RV ports on them both. A 24x48 pole barn with concrete parking slabs and full hookups,50amps. St Joe is a small town with nice shops and a good assortment of food places and a great grocery store and several fish markets with fresh fish,oysters etc. The buildings are almost built,and then we will pour concrete and fence the lots,to keep our dogs safe and sound. We do plan on renting these lots,so if your looking for a place to spend some time in the winter this is a good place. The summer is nice too! This is not a huge tourist area,the people you see here are locals and its a great fishing area,with cean clear gulf waters. Mexico Beach is a short drive and Panama City is 50 miles,walmarts and all kinds of shopping over that way,and the drive is along the coast. Tallahassee is 50 miles north. The pics were taken on Monday,thats the pole barn builders in the pics. We bought the lots a few months ago,but getting all the permits and going through the hoops with the local Gov has been a challenge. But,its all done and the buildings are going up today!
