Default Want to buy braking system for toad

Anybody want to sell a braking system? I'm considering buying a toad, it has a great towing system, but lacks the part to engage the toad's brakes when the coach brakes. California requires a braking system at 1500 pounds, which is overkill for a Wanderlodge.

Joe - i have one of the brake robots that sits in the toad driver foot wheel. It senses braking via accelerometer and pushes the brake pedal with a pneumatic driven arm.
Bought it for $250 or so on EBay or Craigslist.

Just make sure braking sensitivity isn’t high. I flatted spotted a new set of Michelin’s on one of my first outings.

Best out there is the Air Force One system. Get it at for reasonable at Camping World and install for both toad and RV is just $59 for both.

Great deal

I see a couple of Blue Ox robots on Ebay now, under $600, still in bidding process. This might be a good route. Thanks for that idea. Or, you want to get of yours? I can pick up easily if in Encinitas.

I couldn't find this on Camping World website. Could you please send a link. I think I might need a brake robot or similar item though.

I have a NSA ready brake 12 inch hitch extension that I sell for cheap. How about $100 plus shipping? or $125 shipped to lower 48.
It's just the extension. You would have to add the needed cables to the vehicle.

Link to what you would get from me>

Joe,
I’m in Encinitas but don’t want to sell. I don’t need the braking but do have it to maintain compliance.
Keeping it simple is good.

Hello Joe,
I have an RVI 2 for sale. I've just upgraded to the RVI 3 system so I could include the tire monitoring and braking system on the same dash board screen. The RVI2 system is flawless and works very well. I tow a Colorado pickup. It also has a breakaway system which applies the breaks to the truck in case of a disconnect. You can see the companies videos on line for more details. It is small and compact and has a solid bar installed under the drivers seat of the toad to assure solid backing. Let me know if interested. 717-262-5098.
