Specifically for size 30x10.5R15 that you state you need, I run the Goodyear Wrangler from Walmart on my CUCV (military version of Chevy K5 Blazer). That is the only size they carry in it, but almost every store has a set in stock. They are inexpensive and I've never had a problem with them. In my case, they also match name/profile of what we ran on them in the Army which allows me to keep it looking original. On my heavy Ford Excursion I run E load rated BFG A/Ts that get better wear and mud/snow handling than the Michelin LTXs I used to run with no increase in noise. They also cost A LOT more than the Walmart Wranglers on the CUCV.

Thanks Steve. We will most likely go with the Goodyear Wranglers. I am including some pictures of my current tires and you can maybe see why I galls me to have to replace them. They are date coded 2014, bur are in remarkable condition. Soft rubber, no cracking or dry rot...anywhere!

Here is a look at the sidewall:

Such a complete waste!

Their date code is 0814. But I have no clue where the PO got them, nor do I have a receipt for them so......I am SOL I would say. Besides, they do not make this tire anymore so if and when we lose one on the road, we will have to replace them all, plus I need to replace the ancient spare. It is currently of no use to me. I just hate that they are in such good condition and I have to replace them is all. Seems very wasteful.

That is certainly true Randy. They were loud, and rode like total ****. We took them off and got them properly balanced , which is when we discovered one was broken on the inside.
Even with one broken, they are MUCH better...quieter and ride smoother.
What I do like about them is their off road ability. Guess it's the Southern girl in me, but I do miss playing in the woods and the sand.

Check with a reputable BFG dealer. You should not need a receipt. If they have tread and are defective, with that date code, they will tread wear them out of service. If they can't sell you one new one, then they should at least warranty 2 of them and maybe all 4.
Tell the dealer that you will buy the new tires from them. Dealer will get paid by BFG.
Been down this road before with good results. Contact BFG corporate if you have too. For hundreds of dollars a couple phone calls or emails will be worth it.
