The glass guy called today, says i should have parts on friday.

I have two 7'' sealed beam headlights for my LXI,just need to find some nice LEDs for turn lights, parking lights.
A dual element would be nice, run and turn in the same amber light.
something thin with a chrome guard maybe.

I think TruckLite makes LED DOT approved Headlights in that size Randy. Might be a way to eliminate some relays and run a lower power, simpler and more modern headlight setup.

Yes,you are correct!
They don't make the smaller sealed beams in LED (5''?) but they do make the 7'' in LED.
Used by uncle sam on the hummers i think.
That was one reson i went with the 7'' this time, instead of the 5''.

I was thinking of putting a 5'' amber light in next to the 7'',like Mercedes did way back when.
The Amber fog light.
I could even make it a turn signal light.

I found an LED turn/park light last night on ebay, but they did not show how big it is.

If you email trucklite or fill the form out on their website they'll send you a catalog. Lots of stuff there you don't even see online. I think dimensions are even listed for each light. I have one but it's severely outdated. FleetPride is a dealer and they can order anything you find in there. With all the space you have on a Bird you could even separate the parking and turn signals into individual elements/lights. Something like:

Headlight | Park | Turn

Would even make you more visible to the public at night (not that a Coach isn't but...) That way you are using all the elements in each one not half. Come to think of it, I have a buddy that could even make them sequence like the old Thunderbirds if you used 3 elements. He markets a product specifically for that.

The glass guy called today at 2:30.
at 3:30 i was at his shop.
The headlight doors came out nice!
very nice!
I will get pics tonight,i hope!

Price is firmed up at $200 each, you will need to cut your own headlight holes.
This is just the outside cover,no clear lenses,no amber lenses.
This is a great way to change those ugly amber lights to an LED and you can cut small round holes for the factory lights or just change them to something custom.

I will pick up 5 sets next week,$400 per set,or just buy one if you want to paint it black to match the other side.
Plus shipping!

I was trying to find some like that but sequential in operation. Not so many options for sequential style for the front turn signals.

My Buddy Chris Lewis (Electrical Engineer) built some back in 97 and has been refining the design for awhile. I was in the first batch. First it was just for 94-96 Impala/Caprice, then he added Corvettes with a 2 Element lens and Ford Stangs (Fords doing it "from the Factory again" last I looked) and other Makes. Anyway they're at www.BlinkBlink.com.

He's the owner/operator of one of the only shops in the US to provide repair services for most high end audio gear like Martin-Logan, B&o, Proceed, etc... he stands behind his product, My original blinkBlink Version 1's were going strong when I sold my SS back in 2010. He's a very knowledgeable guy writes articles for some of the Audio Magazines even.

Brad, You could do sequential fronts. Get three of the Single SuperBright Yellow LED's (or even bigger modules) and flushmount them in the front bumper, then tie the BlinkBlink modules's into each side. Done.
