I have a1986 PT 38 and would like to put a slide tray in the pass through bay and was wondering what brand and if it should only extend out on the curb side or extend out both sides.

the "joeybed'' brand is the most used brand,it will slide out either side, and has latchs to keep it out and in.

A competitor to Joey Bed (brand) is Slide Master -- there are also quite a few other 'sliding cargo bed' offerings. A Google search will bring up a number of options. See these URLs for a couple:
http://www.truckcargobed.com/ http://www.cargobed.com/industry/out...n-vehicles.htm You also need to consider if you really want a full slide that goes out either side. when I first thought about a cargo slide, I thought this would be best. But I read another WL owner's report where 4' slides where installed on each side. I note that my coach (and most WLs) have a lower center section than the height by the door. If you have a full-width slide, then you can't have anything stacked above the center height. If you use two slides, back to back, then you can use the full height available. It's something to consider. Last edited by iamflagman; 03-25-2008 at 01:57 PM. Reason: Activated the two URL's |

I did the 2-slide route, using Kwikee Super Slides. I put a narrative with pictures up last year at http://www.arcatapet.net/travel/superslide.cfm
They have worked well for us.
