I was very against a tag when I was shopping. I love how easy my FC turns. I feel like I can put that bus anywhere. But I'm not sure having a tag axle would be a problem over just being longer.

No tag is mostly because I watched all the videos from that British couple on YouTube can’t remember their names...fish and chips?? Lol. But they busted a tag axel and spent months getting one made. Don’t need anything like that. I figure 2 axels to worry about is enough.

I had a list of stuff I wanted for my first bird. Then I looked at my bird before I purchased it and my list changed to match it! =P

I was really thinking I wanted a springer FC for the simplicity!

Lifting tag is a gimmick on a bus most are shop built. Prob is the engineering needed to allow the tag to clear the driveline. Has proven to fail. lifting tags on trucks are simple straight axles because there are no drivelines in the way. Most tag setups allow the driver to just drop the air out of the tag springs which allows the tag tires to skid sideways in a slow turn. You will find skip and steer tags have a proven strong hump in the axle tube. Steering tag is an unbelievable option but the owner must be trained in how to use it or just drop air and treat it like a skip tag. . I am gonna miss the steering tag on my lxi , 450xs are all skip tags from what I have seen.

Clue to recognize a steering tag is the wheels on the tag are turned around like the front wheels

Some problems can't be fixed for some people.
Some fixes are easy.
Theres always a work around.
