Well the used antenna was junk just as I was told. We had to install a magnetic base antenna for now. In the coming days we,ll get the other mounted.

No problem crossing into Canada. Typical questions but fewer than in previous years. We crossed on ND 30 just north of Rolla. Made it to Brandon Manitoba Wal Mart for the night. Today we head west on Canada 16. No destination for today other than stopping if something is of interest.

No issues with the LX other than the CB and the cruse hasn't fixed itself.

New dash AC Compressor works like a champ. Cold air at the dash even in 90 plus temps but it will not keep the coach cool enough with the sun shinning in. Crank the genny for the roof airs and all is well.

I like this. I am living vicariously through you, holding the steering wheel. Enjoy the road trip and travel safely.

It sounds like you are having a great time. I am absolutely jealous and wish you and Roberta the best road trip.

Made it to Cold Lake, Alberta today. a lot of Black Bear, Deer and Geese. Many Beaver lodges and of course farm land to see in route. Coach is doing fine.

For those of you with an LX you might take a look at your coolant sensor on the curb side of the coolant tank. One of the hatch hinge rods can swivel enough to contact the sensor. I promise you won't want to buy a replacement on the road and your engine will derate with it broken.

Yellow Knife, NWT Friday afternoon. On the way we saw several Black Bear and their newly born cubs along with Woodland Bison. The buffalo are quite impressive. They make our buffalo look puny in size. Will be here until Wednesday AM. Very interesting place and the people act as though their glad we’re here.

Hey Rick, Hope all is going well. I noticed you must have dropped off the grid somewhere. Give Roberta a hug and pat the boys on the head for me.

NWT?! Is that the Yellowknife on the Great Slave Lake? I'll say you get a Trail Blazer pin. So cool

Are the auroras active? Sunset at midnight?

Take lots of pictures, I'd like to see one of the really big buffalo.

Safe travels, good luck you two.

We spent 5 days in yellow knife. Ate out a lot. Drove to the end of the NWT roads and had a native girl try to get into our coach at midnight. All that was exciting.

Left Yellowknife and while parked at the makinzie river bridge had a run in with that one rude Canadian. I knew there had to be one somewhere. She didn't like me blocking the view of the bridge.

Continued south on the western road. Spent one night at Fort Liard. While on this road we saw moose, bear, and woodland bison. Spotted our first Griz on the Alcan before Watson Lake. The WOG Egg is still on the top of the first pole going into the forest.

Left Watson Lake yesterday and are now at Whitehorse.
