Notice the size of the hole is in the male Fitting. I think the current standard is actually bigger and it surrounds the plunger instead of pushing it in.
Fitting is marked 5LP-A-2
I am thinking about changing out my grill for a Blackstone. Do you have that support underneath because the Blackstone is much heavier than a grill or just to stabilize things?

I have a Traeger Grill and a 22" Blackstone with an optional lid or cover and the Blackstone is not that heavy. About the same as the grill from what I've seen.

Thanks, Jim. Maybe it is to level better for pancakes or take some stress off the slide hardware if there is some hard smashing or cutting involved on the cooktop?

Jim,
I've been using a Traeger Ranger grill on our pull out grill platform with zero issues.
It weighs 60-70 lbs and I haven't had any problems with the setup, it also has a griddle top for things like pancakes, burgers, etc.
We no longer have any propane in our coach, so the Blackstone wasn't a good option for us, but the pellet grill just plugs into the electric outlet and works. Based on how it's held up, I would think the Blackstone would be fine.

I'm looking for a second grill pull out unit so I can add 2 induction hobs from the middle bay, we really enjoy cooking outside when the weather and bugs allow.

My OEM sliding brackets dip pretty bad with the Blackstone with lid. I bought 2 cabinet hanging jacks of amazon. Short versions. They have a pivoting foot for uneven terrain. They are not ideal but they do work and they store flat just to the right of the grill in the chair slots. I abandoned the leg rests for my chairs so I have extra slots.
