I'd be REAL good with collards and ham hocks or salt pork.

My mother said that steak should crunch and green beans should not. I'm past the well done meat - medium rare for me - but I like greasy green beans.

I'm airing up.

Be there in a couple of hours. Leave the gate open.

I will be sure to let you know when I’m coming your way. I’ll bring some sweet tea to wash that down, and a sweet potato pie for dessert .

Salvaged beet greens for lunch, me, with onyums and 'shrooms.
I mean, I park next to an abandoned cart, and there's a wob of leaves in it.
Fool Muggles, buy a batch of beets just to cut off the greens!
Dangnabbit, somebody gotta corral these loose veggies before they get into traffic or wot.
Good thing I carry extra grocery bags.
Mmm-mm, we're fixin' to have umpTEEN varieties of greens at the Farmers' Markets....

[Ya think I need some Irish in it, to fend off this morning's awful wind?]

Edit/add - the jacks aren't down, that last gust seriously rocked the bus....
