There has to be something good on that skeleton.
I'm not sure what it would be.
8V71? no value.

Only good thing about that Eagle is there is no hidden rust, you can see it all... you know what you are getting.. Torsilastic suspension could be worth something if its still has some adjustment..

I have seen scrape BB's in far better condition.
Dave's 84 FC laying on its side still looked great, with possibly lots of life remaining.

It was worth more than this Eagle, at least to Progressive Insurance. They wanted $7500 or some crazy amount(to me)for me to buy it back.

The older I get, the slower I work. So I suppose that project would probably take me about the next 120 years to get finished up.

Maybe that’s what he meant when he says “bad health” forces sale. The realization that he’s not going to live long enough to ever get it back on the road.

Pretty sad but it looks like a cutting torch and a trip to the recycle center is the next destination for this hulk

$5500 is a joke.

Been there, done that. I built one up that was worse than that back in the early 90s. It turned out great but it took over two years to complete it. Its still on the road today, though, so I guess I did a halfway decent job on it.

That looks like a job for someone with both youth, resources and experience to get it on the road. To old, to tired...

I usually interpret that phrase to mean, "I'm sick of looking at this thing."

Issue may be the cost to scrape it, stripping, towing, etc

There was a day but it ain't today. Also it probably worth the scrap price less the cost of cutting it up.
