Default Using tags in the search function?

Howdy.
I don't understand how to use "TAGS" under the Search function. Will someone please give me an example?

TIA,
Liz Pearce

Sorry Liz,

This one got by me without me seeing it, but to be honest with you I don't fully understand what the TAGS feature is for myself, I just didn't want you to think that we were ignoring you

Here is the information supplied to us by vBulletin about TAGS;

"Thread tagging is a system that allows user to apply their own keywords (tags) to threads. See Wikipedia for more information on the ideas behind tagging."

I hope that this helps.

I did a Little experimenting and this is what I found, TAGS just make finding your thread easier when certain words or TAGS are used in a SEARCH.

Enter the TAG as an example "southwest bluebirds" in the SEARCH drop down then click on TAG SEARCH, that will bring up a list of TAGS, then click on the one that you want to view and in this case it will open this thread SWBB: 2009 ANNUAL BLUEBIRD QUARTZSITE RALLY: Time to sign up!

If you look down to the bottom of that thread, you will see where the poster added those TAGS listed to make sure that it would be easier to find his thread with those words.
