Default Safe-T-Plus Available at the WOG Rally

We will have a rep and techs from Saf-T-Plus at the rally. They will be doing a presentation at 10am on Thursday. They have offered us a show price for an installed system. The system will be installed by factory techs (requires a test drive)

The installed, show price is $670. It's the "Blue" unit with install hardware kit, factory install, and full warranty. Based on my internet shopping this seems like a very good price. It will be easy on the stress level because it will be done at the show with no appointments, factory techs doing the install ect. Cash and carry price is $545 for the unit and install kit.

I am going to take them up on the deal and they are going to do a test install on my coach which will be right across from the building next to Shane and the cooker.

I would like to get a count of people that might be interested in this. Please reply here if you want one

I'm related to the owners of Safe-T-Plus via marriage (more than 1 even) and am part owner of some property next to and amongst that family. Interesting family.

I too installed one after a miserable trip in cross winds that were gusting to 60mph. Winds had blown a semi over on I75 in Ohio. Made a huge difference when driving the SOB. I was glad to see the Bird already had one. If it didn't, I would be asking someone on the WOG express to pick one up for me.

Will the Saf-T-Plus take some of the "slop" out of the steering as well?

I've got a 1977 FC31 and would love to tighten up the steering, or is this more of an "in case of emergency" addition (blown tire/evasive maneuver)?

I've been wanting one, might at well do it at PM.

Matt, I am no expert but I believe it is primarily a safety device but also helps with strong crosswinds.
