"The bus is also equipped with the valuable RVIA placard which means you won’t get hassled about getting into campgrounds."

Worth every penny.

Ok BadAndy, educate me.

What's the deal with the RVIA plaque?
Our bus has one too and it's numbered. Never paid it much mind really.

It shows it's not a "schoolie" which may be disallowed in many campgrounds.

The RVIA plaque shows that the RV items in the bus have passed a quality control inspection.
An inspector comes to your shop and inspects your facility and watchs you assemble or make the part.
Once you pass they send you a sticker for each part you make and they notify the builder of the coach that you are certified.
Each and every bit of this inspection costs the maker of the part money, which we in turn pass along to the end user.
I have been through this whole circus when i owned Dupree Products.

Funny thing,Newell nor any of the prevost converters built their coachs with the RVIA certs.
