High, but if it's exactly what you want and you've got the money go buy it. It looks nice, not a beater!

It looks nice but I know I'll eventually be wanting to move up to a series 60 coach so I dont want to lose my shirt on this one.

I’m driving back through that area Tuesday or Wednesday of next week if anyone wants me to inspect it for them. I’m a caterpillar mechanic so I know the 3208 real well and the rest; well I’ve learned a ton with my bus.

FYI. When I corresponded with the owner on this coach, he told me the following: satellite antenna and TVs are gone, main ZipDee awning is gone, microwave not working, privacy door to bedroom is missing, one rear leveling jack is not mounted following removal for repair. Recent history of full timing for several months with 4 kids and lack of current photos of exterior/interior in listing would suggest a careful inspection from stem to stern before making an offer. $40 seems high to me in this context.

We had a number of experiences with Colorado mountain passes in the Mother Ship towing a Jeep Wrangler. Monarch pass was VERY SLOW but we made it!!!

I decided to pass on it. I'm flying to AZ on Friday to hopefully bring home an 87 FC35. Hopefully the combination of 300hp and the 5 speed will make it less miserable.

We plan to tow the jeep or my land cruiser all over the western US.

I have ran the 250 and the 300 at times a think the 250 pulled the same hills harder because I had more control on down shifts. Trany brake on the down hill side is much easier with the 300 and longer wheel base is nice for highway speeds and newer technology
