Default LXI air bags,part numbers

On this thread i want to only post part numbers for air bags for LXI coachs,1998-2003

NOTICE!!!

on these coachs we have a choice of 3 air bags for the drive axle and the tag axles.

We have 3 choices because we have 3 different tag axle systems.

1-Dead tag axle,plain vanilla

2-Liftable tag axle

3-Steering tag axle

This thread will only be for part numbers,no discussion please.
If you post part numbers, please state which axle you have, year of coach.

We can also add shock numbers to this thread, but please make sure you state which axle you have when you post numbers.

LXI shocks and air bags only please!!

Randy:

I could really use this information right now. I left you a phone message because my coach has been in for service and they have had it for a week now. There is a hole in one of the tag axle air bags and they can't find any info regarding the tag axle and it doesn't seem like they are getting any support or assistance from Coachcraft. If ANYONE can chime in with some assistance I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Randy:

Thanks for the reply. No problem on the return of the phone call.

Working on the 2003 43' LXI. The BMC is sold and I miss it already.

'As far as I know' the tag axle only lifts, and does not steer. I've only had the coach less than a month.

The service center is having a problem getting with coachcraft and getting anyone to help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have a 20000 LXi with steerable tag and bought Firestones from truckspring.com in Saginaw. Here's what I have in my records from a year ago.

4 Steer Axle: Goodyear 1R11-151, Firestone 1T15L2 9457 or W01-358-9457.
4 Drive Axle: Goodyear 1R11-152, Firestone 1T15L2 9459 or W01-358-9459.
2 Tag Axle: Goodyear1R11-159, Firestone 1T15L2 9387 or W01-358-9387 for steerable tag, and Firestone 1T15LP-3 9595 for non-steerable tag.

The tag is somewhat ambiguous as it does not mention liftable tag and we know those are different.

The invoice, however, simply shows FI and the last four digits as the part numbers, so I don't know what the other numbers mean. Maybe that's all you need.

Hope this helps.

Ron:

Thanks very much for your reply. I'm guessing the steering tag axle is going to have a different air bag than the lifting tag? Just a guess.

I thought post number 1 made that clear.
All of those axles have a different bag.
Rons bag numbers will not work on your coach.

A quick search on WOG and heres what you need.
These are old prices.

Front Bags are W01-358-9457, Bag is 1T1 15 L2 cost 152.80 each
Tag Bags are W01-358-9106, Bag is 1T 15M9 cost 282.00each
Rear Drive is on order( 8 weeks) I had to have Ridewell ask Goodyear to make them. Firestone no longer does. The number on my invoice is TSC 1R14-133 I will update this number when I have the bag in hand. They cost $274.12 each.

Randy:

I'm not that concerned with the prices but are those numbers that begin with a "W" Blue Bird part numbers? If so will Coachcraft be able to convert these to Firestone/Good-Year numbers? If so that is going to help me a LOT. I will pass that information along tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it!
