Default Queen Mattress

Is it possible to contort a full size queen mattress (not box spring) in to an 78 FCSB without removing the bathroom enclosure? We have the dinette out as well as both front couches and the short cupboard forward of the steps at this time but as we are not home right now (Catalina State Park just outside Tucson, AZ) we have no access to the bird to check dimensions. Thanks in advance, Glenn.

We did in our 89. Dunno how yours differs. We removed the original queen and put back in a new one that was thicker by 3 inches. It is innerspring with the pillow top thing.

Compare it to what you are taking out.

True. It was like wrestling. If the mattress has no hand-holds, rig something with a strap or a rope so you can get a grip.
