I have read all the threads for slide seal, They seem to be about 8 to 10 years ago. Has anyone come up with a replacement seal available in 2018. A non air solution would be great.
Thanks Gump ![]()

I thought about the seals a lot.
It seems to me that a non air seal would have to be put on the inside wall of the coach, around the outside of the slideouts hole in the side of the bus. If you add one in any other position it would have to be on the outside of the coach, for it to seal when the slide was in,or out. If you put it on the outside it would look like, well, you know... The gaps between the wall and the slide are pretty small,so putting a seal in the gap would be tough. So it has to go on the inside of the wall, and i think if i was doing it i would use the brush type seal. Push the slide into the coach (like you would when replacing the air seal) and fit up some brush seals. If i had a slide, thats what i would do.

Last Q, Doc said he had a line on some new slide air seals which he could have made. The price was good but there was a group buy min order number. Even though both of mine are working fine, I & several M380 owners told him we wanted in. Haven’t heard anything from him since. If he’s coming to Q, will ask him about them.
Have seen slide brushes on cheaper rigs and I don’t like them.

For only the second time in eleven years I had rain water come through my M380 bedroom slide and am thinking about replacing the seal - and would like to replace it with a solid rubber seal rather than the inflatable one. If I remember correctly one of the WOG M380 owners posted that the early M380s came with solid non-inflatable seals and that he has not had any problems with it. So my question is where do I get that seal and can I just remove the inflatable one and install it in the same channel?

Please no comment but here it is.... dont operate slide without 100 psi in the tanks in or out. vacuum generator . also to collapse bag you need bag full so if your fill line or regulator is muffed, give it time to manage the 6 psi after you start the bus. Pneumatic valves and devices used in these auxiliary systems require clean dry air. if you run off of the 12v or 110v aux compressor without a inlet dryer or good filter, , you are probably screwed as is most of the air system in your rig.
dont forget to open a window

I think we've mentioned before that there is no vacuum system in an M380 slide or seal.

$800 each. Min order of 10 = $8000 and then you have to have 10 of the other one too
