Default Injector pump replacement after rebuild

I had my injector pump rebuilt and have put it back on. how difficult should it be to get all the air out? I've jumped out my facet pump near the tank to keep the system pressurized and opened the valve on top of the pump until fuel comes out. I've cracked open a few injectors until I a few bubbles and fuel come out but still haven't had any fuel smell in the exhaust. I've ran it some with ether but it still hasn't caught up. I hear the fuel solenoid working as it should with the key switch.

I always heard you pump the priming pump until you hear the squeak of the fuel passing the check valves.....

Is there a small tee handle valve on top of the pump?

I had a dump truck with a 3208. There is were three plastic lines coming out of the top of the pump. One is a bypass and the other two are tell tale lines.

The bypass has a tee handle valve. open it and pump the primer until clear fuel oil comes out. Close it and pump the primer. You should hear the fuel squeak I mentioned as it hits the check valves.

At least that was what I had on mine.......

Just my two cents....maybe others know better....

With the Facet "Jumped" do you get fuel at the hand pump supply line? With fuel there do you lock the hand pump down by seating and turning to the right? Are you positive you replaced the fuel lines in their proper place? Solenoid making noise but is it moving the shut off lever?

Take it easy with the either. That "cracking" noise you hear when you spray that stuff is pre ignition. Very bad.
