Default Free site with 50A

Exit 16, I-90 in Montana, there is a casino called $50,000 Silver dollar. You can't miss it, there's bilboards advertising it miles before you get there. Out behind, there's a free RV park, but the kicker is, about a dozen sites have 30 & 50A power - still free. It looks like at some time it may have been a commercial pay site - there's the remains of a fenced dog run in one part, & what could once have been a dump station, now not operational. There are in total room for probably 40 rigs; some defined parking spots (with the power boxes) & the rest just a network of dirt roads where people park haphazardly. There are some old, rickety picnic tables dotted around, plus some fire rings. It's not manned, so no reservations are accepted. No antenna TV reception, phone service spotty, but casino has free no-password wifi which just reaches the front of the park area, probably be OK if you have a booster.
Down side...fairly close to freeway, but casino/hotel building forms a screen against noise. Also no dog leash laws, so (while we've been here, last 3 days) free-running dogs & some dog poop around. But apart from that, the place is a lot better than some of the $40 places we've been at.

We stopped there in 2017 on our way back from Canada. Interesting place for sure.

Default Silver Dollar Saloon

Very cool place. Thanks for the update on the sites. There literally are 50,000 silver dollars on the walls inside the saloon. We stopped there in April, but didn't stay due to less than great weather. Good to know on the sites for our next trip thru.
