What make, model infrared BBQ do you have? Thanks.

Moved the regulator to the other end of the hose and solved the problem. The regulator basically snaps into the coach fitting, making the 15 foot of hose low pressure. I actually feel a little better not have the hose high pressure. And the burner will burn only a few seconds after I turn the valve off.
Curt I have a two burner infrared I bought on Ebay, about $200. I think it says it is 24,000btu. Got tired of the little elect not having enough juicy to cook with any wind at all and thought this would be better, plus if you happen to be on 30a just about unusable. But this infrared cooks fast,, not sure if I will learn to like it or not.

Sam's has a two burner SS grill (not infared) thats small enough to fit on the grill slide for $100. It 's pretty nice but if you get one take the flame deflector out and make a pattern cause they don't last very long. The rest of it holds up nice.

I bought that same grill (80 at BJs club) but found that it fit better on my grill slide with legs from old grill than larger ones it came with. Factory legs were too wide.
