Here's some pictures of the interior before it came to Florida

Cost. A sofa that is just that is less $ than one that does something.

I am sure it is, mainly due to less fabric. I am just wondering why there is no storage door on the passenger side sofa. I know from our other bus, there is plenty of room under there, minus the wheel well. Just seems like wasted space, to me.

That's indeed odd...does the seat lift up perhaps? If not... I agree..lots of wasted storage space.

Could that be a non-BB mod... perhaps OEM was barrel chairs?

buy yourself a saw and cut some doors in the base.

We tried to lift the top, thinking it might have been hinged....but to no avail.
I believe I may try to remove the top and put it on a hinge so I can access the entire space.
I not a big fan of the upholstery, roses aren't my thing, but it is very well done and in excellent condition sooooo, I don't want to mess it up. I will simply put a sofa cover over them.

Well we started the process of in-winterizing the bird last night when I got home from work. It's looking like we may have a bit of HWH work to do before we can totally in-winterize it. 2of the 3 valves (that look new) are leaking where they were sweated onto the copper pipe. We also could not get the HWH to heat up.....so no Hot showers for us....yet.

Might look into taking it all out and just going with a tankess water heater.

Now as far as the passengers side sofa, I believe that would be a great place to store our golf clubs!

Well, I finally got the safe top back from my trusted locksmith and he said he didn't touch the inside after he opened it up because it was in "pristine condition" and didn't need to be disturbed. That means we are now 2 for 2! Both safe's came back with the same report.

So today we changed the toilet I the bird. Of course we also had to change the supply and the leaking water valve. 3 trip to the hardware store later and it's finally in place.
