We have 50/30 amp, water, and can dump in our cattle pasture!

Don, let's talk. I like the birdmaps concept but I have a few concerns about using it for this purpose.
Example: I clicked on a PT near New Orleans. It gives a popup "Steve Gureasko. Have 50 amp hookup"
Questions: Is this where Steve lives or is he traveling?
How do I get a hold of Steve?

Sorry Steve!

I always have had concerns about whether locations are current or not, but ultimately that is something you can only determine by contacting the person. How to contact? Look for the envelope next to the listing and click on it. That e-mail note is optional, but most on the map do provide it. It is not on the popup, so you either need to click on the link in the popup (which also shows you where the spot is) or find it in the list.

Default Weary Travelers

We have a site for the traveller to rest. It has 50 amp , water and soon to have rv dump. It is not for the timid though. A particular driving skill is needed to navigate the half mile narrow , winding gravel/dirt adventure through the woods. Once on site , the remaining task is the backing into position around the old oak tree. It does include a friendly , secluded setting and most likely an evening meal .

I have space in FL for a coach with 50 amp but no dump.
I love having guests for a few days. I always learn something!

My personal motto: Please come, enjoy, when your tanks are full ..... Leave!

While, for me, having a place to share is not a requirement of staying with me. Another possibility would be to share this info only with others on the list.

Here is what my listing would look like:
Level concrete pad. 50 amp electric. Water available. No Sewer. Tools available.
Pre-arrival package deliveries accepted.

I think this is an excellent idea. Traveling to and fro between destinations is great, but there are those times when this (idea) would be a great alternative. Remember the days of using phone booths prior to cell phones... pulling into a well lit area in an unknown location that you think is safe. Truth is it was an unknown area to you. Your welcome mat is available for fellow WOG'ers as opposed to an unknown location which could possible be hazardous.

It seems to disappear after 30 days. I'll have to update more often.

I put in a "10-year" option about a year ago. Essentially permanent for those who want to mark their home location and not update regularly.

My wonderful bird will likely be gone before long but when that happens my parking place, 50 amps and water but no sewer will always be available for my traveling brothers and sisters.

Peace be unto you all and I will miss seeing y’all at WOG this year.

Are you coming to WOG? I just got done reading the directions and I can't figure it out.

Maybe you could do a presentation on it??? I know a guy who can hook you up with a time slot! I am sure it is easier than the directions make it sound. I am a "show me" kind of guy and I am sure others are as well.

I think this will work for us! Even we just put in our home locations and available services.
