Unhappy It is a sad day on the mountain in NC

It is a sad day on the mountain in North Carolina. Ashley has gone to be with Buddy, Walker, and JB Dog. As those of you who saw us on our recent trip to Quartzsite and the Flywheelers rallys may have noticed, she was having trouble breathing along with a cough and other issues. The vet did x-rays today and found tumors that were restricting her breathing and also kidney problems. It was time to go.

She has been with us on all of our RVing trips for over 100,000 miles, visited 48 states, Mexico, and most of Canada. We could not have asked for a better companion. She will be missed and future trips will certainly be enjoyable, but will not be the same.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Ashey will be missed, I remember the time I took her for a walk during the Quartzsite monsoon. We got soaked. She had been in the bird for awhile too long and she could have cared less who I was she needed to go and I was just the guy on the end of the leash. She was a good ole gal, fairwell Ms. Ashley...

Pets are just a great part of our lives. Like you Jim we had a dog that traveled for years on our boat with us. She made it all the way around Lake Michigan a number of times to almost every port and then some of Lake Huron. When she passed we decided to name the boat after her.

Enjoy the memories.
