Still in Lynn Haven (5 miles north of Panama City). The shelter in place announcement went out a short time ago; we're here for the duration. The bus is here and full of fuel and propane.

Good Morning to all WOGs from the Florida Panhandle. As we wait out a rainy and windy day we might as well talk about the Pet Walk and Contest.

When!
Per the rally agenda posted just a few days ago the Pet Parade and Pet Contest time slot is approximately 2pm on Thursday.

Where!
We will meet outside the community pavilion at that time, line up and parade to the Dog Park nearest the office.

Just want to watch and be a judge?
* Everyone is a judge by hollering or clapping for your top choice.
* Bring your lawn chair, beverage and humor.

Want to participate?
* Please remember to leash your best buddy.
* Each pet participating in the Pet Parade will receive a Halloween themed neck bow/tie (I have 50 available)
* Any pup may participate in any of these potential categories. Just jump in when the category is announced. The Pet Winners master receives a ribbon. Winning Pets get a treat.

Probable Categories
- Best Dressed/Costume pet
- Coolest Pet trick or talent
- Cuties and cuddliest overall
- Master/Pup Lookalike contest (either in costume or looks)
- Most vocal Pet (sing, bark, talk)
- Oldest Pet
- Youngest Pet

This start time will conflict with the Ladies Luncheon. Im told some of the Ladies might like to be a participant in the Pet Parade but the luncheon will be wraping up at 2, then there is the clean up that is required. Can you slide your start time?

Thanks - Our condo building should be OK. Windows are rated for Cat 5. I just hope everyone is ok and that I don't have do spend my WOG week down there shoveling sand. We're on the 22nd floor, so maybe sand won't be a problem.

I am actually more worried about the 170 year old house here in Americus and its inhabitants (Elise and Me).
