Default Awning repair

Just want to thank Bill Pape and his group of FC owners for straightening my main awning.

Thanks for the thanks, the credit goes to Tom, Tony, Chris, and of course Big J. sorry if I forgot someone.
Weather is great in Pine Mountain, but there was a surprise heavy rain during the night, at least three awnings were damaged.
We may have more rain today, watch that weather and roll up those awnings.
Awning repairs are disappointing, damaging, costly, and dangerous.

Its hard to believe its Saturday already. Friday was a busy day....Seminars, crafts, games, visiting all over. The awning seminar was a big hit this week.....oh wait...its not one! Next year
We still had a couple buses roll in. If I havent mentioned it..PM is full.
Last nights meal was a treat..Only Shane could make a grilled hot dog taste like a steak. Well that might be stretching just a bit, but they sure were tasty...wait to see what he has for tonight!
The call we made to long time owner Tommy and Martha Rountree really made his day.Tommy may have some health issues but he still gave us a chuckle with our meal. Thanks Tommy we missed you guys this year.
I hope Dave McBride played the loto last night as he was the campsite and 50/50 winner!
Coffee and donuts..then check the board for the events Shrimp has scheduled for today
Our big BBQ sponsored by Coachcraft and final 50/50 drawing will be supper tonight. Bring a side and come join in the fun.

If you have items for tonights auction, bring them to the activity building today. A table will be set up.

Lastly.....if you brought your pinewood derby bus...bring it to supper. We will set up a display somewhere. If we have enough will have a show and contest!

Thanks guys and gals for picking up my slack!
I sure wish i had been with you all this year, instead of being on a roof!
One thing i want you guys to do today, all of you,is to go thank Coachcrafts Glen Rogers and Glen Mac for everything they do and have done, both of those guys are retiring at the end of Oct.
This retirement kinda chokes me up,since it seems like i have known those two guys all of my life,well,30 years of it anyway.

Working the FMCA shows
The doughnut wagon for coffee
phone calls back and forth quite often
Trading tips and parts.
I will miss those guys,so everybody go find those guys and shake their hands.

See you all next year,WOG is bigger and better than ever, thanks to the members!!

I'm open for tours in 205! If I got all cleaned up and no one comes down to see my bus I'm going to be upset

I seriously hate that I am missing all the fun this year. A special thanks to those few who are rubbing it in that they are there and I'm not with all the texts I've been getting. LOL. Site 207 might be empty this year but I have already made my reservations for next year. The rebuild will begin in a couple of weeks!!

Congrats, Dave. A number of people were bummed about no Pinewood Derby!
