As most have already said it was a great Rally (Day) for us we drove our pov up to walk and talk to all and visit with friends for the day on Wednesday. Just the short time we had onsite we knew when we left WE WILL be there in 23' Patty Had her retirement ceremony Saturday and I so wanted to Drive the WanderWhere up for the day but that got nixed.
I was on the phone at 0900 Monday morning with the campgrounds and had to leave a msg. 45 min. later got the second-to-last concrete pad we are set for WOG23. See yaw then

PS. Thoughts and prayers to Carol and Family

Also one day I will get to this rally and meet many of you whom I know and also meet many more whom I don't except on this wonderful forum.

[QUOTE=isp2952;563965]OK, we just got home from the WOG Rally at about 3:30 p.m. and pulled into the driveway. Just as I made the turn I saw something I didn't like. SNOW!!!

Here is a pick for you non-believers and for those that a virgins to this white stuff.Attachment 83284 It is now 6 p.m. and the ground and trees are covered. It looks like a winter wonderland.

You sure that is not cotton that you are seeing I know it looks all the same

Glad we ran over for a couple days. Great to see everyone and be a part if only for a day and a half. It's been a loopy year for me, moreso than usual, so here's to next year.

My "adventure vacation" group has had a busy few days.
A generator bearing job, some body work, and a HCV replacement along with U-joints on a BMC and we rebuilt the hydraiulic pump on an LXL.
And that was just yesterday!

Before the rally we washed a few buses, using a soap cannon to get the tops washed.

1-the redneck way to wash a bus.
2-pulling dents out of an FC,i had this big C clamp with a deep throat,it worked just fine!
3-dent pulling
4-rebuilding a hydraulic pump, the big steel pipe was stubborn, but Shawn and a BFH got it loose.
Jim B was supervisor on the job.

Steve, I saw the cotton fields on the way down and home and well, I'm pretty sure I know the difference The temperature difference is also a clue. I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts when I saw the cotton. I had long sleeves and long pants on when I saw the snow. When I got out to put things away, at home, I also had a coat on. I think most of you guys didn't even think I owned a coat or long pants. Anyway, I have not heard of any kind of official statement, but this has to one of, if not the earliest, snowfalls on record. I can't recall an earlier one.
