Just a recap on our 2150mile journey. We started off leaving Vernon NJ at 5:30 last Friday. Ended up in Virginia where we met dan lefty. We rode the rest of the way together to pine MT. We rolled in Sunday late morning to everybody waving and saying hello. I’ve experienced this before but never in my own bus. By the time we did a parade lap, we parked and started getting the coach washed and polished up. Not before whining about parking under the tree lol. Finally settled in and people started making their way to come see the BB3. And it didn’t stop for 6 days. I loved every minute of it, getting to show off our hard work and dedication to this crazy hobby. From paint corrections to engine bay talk, we covered it all. Thank you to all the ladies of wog that made sydnee feel right at home. Sometimes she can be a little shy but you all made her feel like truly part of the family. She talked about her nights around the domino table the whole ride home.

Saturday we rolled out around 9:30am and headed for NJ. We stopped around midnight and covered about 700 miles. Yes I love to drive at night when I can everybody knows it. Sunday at 4:00pm we pulled into the driveway after a safe trip. Idled the bus down for about 10 min before shutting her down. After we unpacked I took a peek under the bus and BAM NOT A DROP of oil after all the miles south and back. I couldn’t be happier how this bus performed all week.

to all the friends I knew at wog, some friends I only knew through social media, and some of my new friends I met while at the rally THANK YOU for all the kind things you said about our little bus. It meant so much. I’ve been a part of this blue bird community for basically 30 years, a few rally’s here and there when I was a kid but this one was different, it was spent with my beautiful wife and family. Who woulda thought in 1994 in a stroller pushed around by daddy steve at the bluebird factory I’d be running one of these machines myself. Totally blown away

It was a pleasure to see you again Alex, along with your beautiful wife, your OUTSTANDING bus, and of course as always, your mom and dad. The Papas family is a true Ambassador of the Blue Bird Wanderlodge life style. Nobody represents the brand any better. You have grown up. I'm not sure you even had your driver's license the last time I saw you. Keep it up. You did great!!
