Has anyone found this part yet from another source ?

Anyone have a way to test this switch ? From the way it looks it open once you reach the overtemp setting it grounds and somehow shuts down the engine.

John were you saying that your control board wasn’t working right and this function stopped working ?

Does anyone have a test procedure for this switch ? I think it’s open closes at 250f.

Mine shuts down at around 200. You should be able to test it in boiling water.

I was going to suggest a heat gun and an infrared thermometer.

Or you could just run the unit with the fan disabled and check the shutdown temp on the gauge. Then instead of testing only the sensor, you test the whole circuit. If it’s not off by 205, hit the stop button.

I just read the manual(I hate doing that) said 222f.

Mine has run up over that and not shut off, I did have it work a few years ago, the fault breaker popped as designed.

Just tried starting it with the wire off the sensor and got nothing, the breaker didn’t pop but it didn’t turn over. I’m thinking I’m going to have to swallow that bitter pill and pay for that nice onan green paint.
