Default TV in Bay

Finally got around to installing a 32" TV in the bay. Photos tell the story. I'll get the wife to make a cloth backdrop to hide what's behind the TV. Many years ago Sat., Shore, Stand-up Antenna cable got routed to this bay.

Default Me too on TV & Dumped the Carpeting - M380

Me too Curt! You got me on size though. Didn’t want it to block the 1/2 pass through bay to the side/front of the water tank, so went with a smaller 27”. Used a hinge mount and added a 2x6 behind the water tank panel for extra support. Mounted it as high and to the left as much as possible, to provide max pass through clearance and yet allow the door structure to clear.

The aluminum drawer below is my 4’ long pullout tool drawer (idea from DonB several years ago). Ordered some replacement LED “bulbs” for all the bays. Also dumped all the nasty bay carpeting and polished the corrugated stainless floor “boards”. I use plastic bins so no worries with scratching and it will be easier to keep clean. Looks too.

Bill - yes it locks in closed position. MORryde makes several different styles. Lots of places to buy including Amazon:

Looks great Van. The locking mount is a plus. Like the polished SS floor.

Thanks Clint, but I just followed the wise lead of Don. Link above provides the details. The M380 doesn’t have a nice tool chest like other BB’s. This pullout addresses that need (as long as one is efficient), while reclaiming unused space. I use it every time I take the coach out .
