Default Bathroom ceiling leak

Ok, as suggested, here is my issue: Bathroom ceiling appears to be leaking. There was evidence of a prior leak, but we assumed it had been remedied. There is also a bunch of clear silicone all over the screws and seam above the bathroom on the exterior. Also the laminate is separated from the side of the sink, near the shower. The wall that backs up to the kitchen also has gapped away from the window wall and there is now about a 1/2 inch opening with old caulk. If I push on the upper light above the sink, that bunk head moves quite a bit as well. Right now I have dry paper towels stuffed in any place I suspect may be leaking and I will be checking them after our next good rainstorm. It rained one day during our recent trip and I have a plastic cup in the bathroom to hold the toothpaste. Well this cup had about 1.5 inches of water in it after the rain! Where did this water come from? All vents were closed. Both VanAir fans have already been replaced by us. I also noticed a slight dank smell in the bedroom on clean new bedding, that hadn't been there before...during the dry winter months. I use damprid when we aren't using the bus. Guess we need to use more in every room? We will need to find a place to take the bus to get it out of the unrelenting Florida heat so we can take a good look at the roof without hurting ourselves.

I will keep you posted as this develops.

Dana, Just a question. Has it rained on the bus before now? If you replaced the fans did you do it between the rains. Maybe the fans didn't get sealed good? Just throwing it out there. A lot of times if you never had an issue before, the last thing we did with something in that area may be the cause. That is a lot of water in that cup that is for sure.

The fans were replaced probably in December and yes it has rained plenty since then. The bus is kept outside in our driveway...for now. I know there was an old leak above the drivers area, just like in the other bus from the mounts in the diamond plate. He removed the screws and used some dumdum on them and it hasn't leaked since. Of course the inside ceiling panel is a bit warped....but dry.

Ok, hoping it was something simple to check. Water can travel a long way before it shows up, so don't overlook things like the fridge vent, or other entry points on the roof. Something else to think about and check. The A/Cs. I have never had a roof leak but one of my A/Cs froze up in a high heat and humidity situation and leaked. I routinely check mine now because of that. On mine it is easy to check, just drop down the intake air vent and remove the filter to see the condenser and ice if it is present. I don't know how yours are set up so I can't advise.

You would be amazed at how much water can get in around a leaking marker light.

If you don't want to wait for rain, take a hose up top and do several test in different areas on different days. Don't do all at once, just section it off so you can pinpoint the leak. Water will travel to path of least resistance, so it may not be where your thinking

Ok, a leak has been confirmed, thanks to a pretty good thunderstorm this afternoon. I checked the bus when I got home and the bathroom cup had more water in it and one of the paper towels was soaked, just above the mirror light closest to the shower. All the other paper towels were dry that I had stuffed in various places in the ceiling. The water is coming in that corner and traveling down the light fixture and landing in the cup under the light.
That's safe, right? j/k

Ok here's a sideways picture of the leaking area just above the sink lights, next to the shower.
