Hi Al,
First of all, the person I purchased it from has a small dealership, and does high end upgrades for Prevosts, Newell’s, etc. He grew up around Wanderlodges, and really appreciates them. He purchased it about two years ago with a few things needed, such as tires, batteries, etc. One of the a/c’s went out shortly afterward, and he made a decision to upgrade them all. When we decided to purchase it we were moving from a 2011 American Eagle. My wife wanted the residential fridge, and was hopeful for a dishwasher. We had the combo washer driver in a previous coach, and she didn’t really like it. Hence the stacked washer/dryer. The reupholstery was a result of the dealer asking if my wife was happy with the original couch. He offered to re-do it for material costs only. That stretched to the captains chairs.

With that said, I have seen no signs of long term living. Wall and window treatments look like new. Countertops are also in very good condition. The original captains chairs were beautiful, just too white. The dinette chairs are also flawless, although the folding were missing. He gave us a pair from one of his many upgrades, and recovered them to match the couch.

Bottom line is that I think it is just one of those rarely used coaches. Prior to my dealer purchasing the coach, it had less than 20,000 miles. He used it as much as possible, but still only put on about 6,000. There are lots of things that will need to be done, but I think it has good bones.

Thanks Dave,

It’ll get a workout. Spent 5 1/2 months out west last year. Heading that way again.

Hi Bryan,

Wow, from the big city!

Seriously, you are close! Thank you for the invitation. We’ll look at it, but April is getaway month for our trip and could be really busy. I need to get to Georgia to get our lot ready for rent, and get to Palmetto Cove to help open for the season. We have signed up for WOG in October.
