Found this "warning" from Dometic on the Advent brand. (I suppose one should keep in mind that this is coming from a competitor) Claims that Advent is a Chinese knock-off.

http://www.dometic.com/enus/Americas...-Conditioners/

Couldn't find too many reviews of the product, but the prices don't seem a lot lower than the better known brands.

Personally for an FC I would probably be looking at the Brisk Airs. JMHO

Seems as if I did some research on them and "Chinese" comes to my mind also.

I also think the brisk air was the only unit where the dimensions from the roof opening would fit between the other stuff up there. On my roof this was a concern in the front. Not in back. A '33 does not have the center unit.

I used the Penguins which are longer but did fit and are super quiet. One just needs to measure be ause not all roofs were configured the same.

I was wanting to put an air conditioner in the donut wagon (can't believe we worked all these years in it without one) Aren't the Dometic Brisk Airs also made in China

My FC has two new Dometic Brisk Airs with the heat option, with the original Coleman Mach Series in the middle of the FC

Well, after much research on the Dometic and Advent air conditioners, I went with the Dometic Duo Therm 15,000 btu Brisk Air with the heat strip. Total cost with free shipping from the great state of MO...$735.30

Well, it looks like my front air is slowly losing its charge. I had a tech service it last summer. Anyone got a "deal" on a 15,000 Duotherm Brisk air? I don't have wall thermostats or ducting. But I will need the new lower unit, also. I replaced bedroom with same last year.
