I have had a 10' door for 12 years and have never folded in the mirrors. Never scuffed a mirror or door frame. It's not that hard if you pay attention and go slow. I'd save my money for fuel

That was the only 'action' I ever saw when I was an active SEABEE. We came in with SEAL team 4, one day behind. By the time we got there, it was all but over. We ran around for 3 weeks finding and fixing up good digs for the Navy, left a few behind (for infrastructure support) and went home. Outside of Iraq, that was the only time I had a bad guy take pot shots at me. Cuban Army was hiding out all over the island. They took months to root out.

As I climbed in the ranks, I found more youngins looking up to me. You have to keep your professional demeanor (like Clint). I used to tell them (WE ARE NOT FRIENDS). Friends are what you have in the same rank. When it came time to say goodbye for the last time in some units. we cried like babies. I keep in touch with many , some I have known for over 40 years. We visit each other from time to time, help our kids out when we can. It's a wonderful thing.

I still get together with my fellow vets after 54 years.
