Default carpet runner

I am looking for a good quality carpet runner. When we had our FC there were 2 heavy oriental style runners. Thick piles and well made (USA). But I never strip a unit when selling and gave them to the new owner. I see lots of Birds and Prevost for sale with these runners. I tried Lowes and Home Depot. Nothing but cheap stuff. Q has lots of runners but they are light weight and starched to make them seem sturdy. Amazon has some but they are low end. Tucson has 4 or 5 stores with the genuine imported product. But $1000 is a little much. Maybe a trip to Georgia is the best idea!! Thanks

A local carpet shop cut & bound commercial carpet to fit our FC. Nominal cost, wears well. One area in our bus is only 22" wide, Most runners we looked at were 24".
