Default Aqua Hot Quit

My aquahot was running fine then just stopped... the light on the dash is out... I rocked the switch and the light came back on and went out in just a few seconds

Any suggestions

thanks

Hi Eddie,
Is that the same switch they’re talking about in this Thread (starting at post #15):

Hish is the guy to ask, but I know if the dash light does not stay on, it is because the heater did not lit.

The cause could be dirty fuel filter, but most likely it is the atomizer is clogged. It is recommended that this be replaced annually.

With this, you know everything I know.

There's also a flame detector sensor that may need to be cleaned. Owners manual and installation guides are located in the document section of this forum and additional manuals and shop guides can be obtained from the AquaHot web site:
http://www.aquahot.com/eSource/ecom/...t/Manuals.aspx

You can also use the "service center locater" (under the "parts and service" link) to find a technician close to your location.

Let me add that my AH has been going off for several months now and we've determined it has nothing to do with the normal tune up. Filter and nozzles have been changed four times. Just had it bench tested in Seattle last week and it ran for 36 hours before it quit again. When it quits the light goes out and I have to manually turn the switch to the off position and then on. Then it fires up with great clouds of white unburned fuel left over in the combustion chamber. Two days ago I bit the bullet and put in a new coil ($300) and so far it has been running a little over 50 hours. Keep your fingers crossed for me will ya. I still have the inoperative front zone but will get to that later.

Default RE: Aqua-Hot Quit

You can verify if it is the interior switch or a problem with the Aqua-Hot itself by jumpering across the terminal block as shown in the photo below.

3rd and 4th terminal from the right hand side. This will have the same result as turning the 'diesel' switch inside of the coach.

If you are having problems with the interior switch, you could temporarily add wire and switch here. Make sure you get the correct terminals or you will blow the fuse (second from the right, below).
