Aquahot capacity

Has anyone changed their Aquahot boiler antifreeze? How much does it take? A couple of gallons, three? Thanks,

About 15 gallons on my LXi.

yup, I got about 15-16 gallons into mine. 10 gallons of this stuff and the rest was water...

While we're on the topic, I changed mine a couple of years ago and went back with the antifreeze and distilled 50/50 mix. Comments on the boiler antifreeze by comparison? A change over could be difficult to achieve 100% like switching to transynd two changes may be necessary. Whats the benefit if any.

That's what I have Slim, and was wanting to change back to boiler stuff. Don't have any idea how old my yellow stuff is.

When I did mine Roger (the AH guru) told me to use the green stuff and nothing else. Many of the other forms have stuff that attacks to pex tubing.

The stuff pictured above, came with my turn key AquaHot system.

The package included every hose, clamp, Pex lines, nuts, bolts and that "boiler antifreeze". If you call aquahot, they will recommend you use this stuff.

I don't much about the different types of "antifreeze" or their advantages or disadvantages, just pointing out what Aquahot sent with this package.

Ditto here. When Roger Burke serviced my AH in "Q" I asked about the anti-freeze and the boiler fluid. He also advised the regular green stuff for my system.

I suspect (I do not know for sure) there may be different requirement/recommendation depending on the type of AH system you have. I would start with your owners manual or a call to AH.
