Default Stuck in a Campground - Rear Slide Won't Retract

For some strange reason, our rear slide refuses to retract. I have power to the CPU and have reset it a couple of times. I have 23 lbs pressure to the seal. I have coach leveled. I have ignition key in accessory position. Coach air is over 100 psi. Only LED's lit on slide panel are "Doors" and "Air Seal". All other LED's are dark. "In" and "Out" buttons are both lit. I'm stuck and the campground wants me out of here pronto. All help appreciated.

Have you tried turning off the coach master and then turning it back on again?

Tried shutting off Coach Master and turning it back on. No change. Part of the problem may be that I noticed the slide didn't go completely out when we originally set up. System may be confused when it isn't completely in or out. What do you think?

Eric:

Sounds to me exactly what you said is correct. "Slide didn't go completely out, when we set it up"

Can you try to reset, and then push slide out, to see if that solves your problem?

There is a way will need to get to the motor under the bed..Release the air and with two wires reverse the direction of the motor..I totally bi-passed the original setup with a toggle switch..

Thanks Johnny and Art. I finally pulled up the mattress and platform, cut the wires to the motor and ran a jumper wire from the positive terminal of the starter batteries and a ground wire to the slide frame. Measured the distance on the outside of the coach the slide needed to come in (11") made a mark on the inside slide structure and brought the slide in just the right amount so the awning arms could be latched down. I'm convinced the right way to solve this problem, as others have done, is to make it a manual setup and get rid of the overly complex factory mess. This project just made it to the top of my list! Noted that once the slide was in, the control panel still didn't have the proper LED's lit.

I can send you a photo of how I did mine 2 HD relays and a toggle switch with a momentary feature. I still use the 120v to 12v power supply from underneath the 3rd bay..Kept it really simple..

Other than being one of the great coaches this is one of the main reasons I bought a BB is the help you get from the WOG group.
